According to a post on MCV, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Hirai stated, “We do business in parts of the world where network infrastructure isn’t as robust as one would hope,” and ‘Digital future is over ten years away’. Read Full Article.
Looks like a safe bet the next generation PlayStation 4, ps4 will not be download only,
but is definitely the direction of future PlayStation game consoles just not the next generation.
It does appear there maybe more games that will be available for download on the next console.

This looks like it is going to be another great Call of Duty game for the playstation 3. Seventh installment of the Call of Duty series, based on the live fire conflicts of the Cold War era with a new arsenal of weapons and vehicles tied to the Cold War era, including the SR-71 Blackbird and sited explosive-tipped crossbows!
